Serre Chevalier Summer Jazz Festival

This 4th edition of the festival will offer the public concerts with eclectic aesthetics at the very heart of French musical creation.

Église du Casset: Marylise Florid (solo guitar)

Marylise Florid's talent is unanimously recognised in the world of classical guitar, but also in the world of jazz, particularly since she shared the stage and recorded an album with Sylvain Luc, an exceptional guitarist who died recently.

Besides her impressive track record (Grand Prix for Performance at the René Bartoli International Guitar Competition, etc.), this outstanding musician stands out for the emotion that emanates from her disconcertingly easy and precise playing, and her innate sense of phrasing, always at the service of great musicality. A teacher at the Marseille Conservatoire, she is as passionate about the stage as she is about teaching.

The traditional solo concert, which opens each edition of the festival in the little church of Le Casset, will give us a chance to hear her talents as a performer and improviser.
