Paris-Nice Cyclo

Once again, Vars will play host for two days to the 22nd edition of the Paris-Nice Cyclo 2026!

On Friday, June 26, 2026, the finish of the 8th stage from MONTGENEVRE will take place in VARS SAINTE-MARIE in front of the Tourist Office at 2:15 p.m., at the end of an 82-kilometer stage, including the climbs of the Col de l'Izoard (via Briançon), and the final ascent of the Col de Vars.

The start of the 9th and final stage will be given on Saturday June 27, 2026 in VARS-SAINTE-MARIE, opposite the Tourist Office, at 7.15 am. The riders will climb up to VARS-LES-CLAUX, cross the Col de Vars and then reach the Ubaye valley and the Mercantour Massif. To reach the finish in Nice, they will still have to cross the Col de Restefond and the Cime de la Bonnette, both splendid but very difficult climbs at the end of the race.
