Les musicales du jeudi: Trio Arborescence

Add to my calendar

An unexpected encounter between a gifted young American violinist and an internationally renowned pianist. An evening where violin and piano will engage in a dialogue like rarely before, to your delight.

A concert that promises to be an event!

The trio features Rachel Koblyakov on violin, Florimond Dal Zoto on cello and François Daudet on piano. For the occasion, François Daudet will be playing on a grand piano, which, thanks to the exceptional acoustics of the Eglise Saint Sébastien, will convey all the finesse and power of his playing.

It was during a deciphering session with friends that the three musicians decided to join forces and form the Arboresence trio. Their aesthetic is reminiscent of the great trios of the 20th century, such as the Beaux-Arts Trio, with whom François Daudet had a close relationship.

"The Arborescence trio is the epitome of committed, authentic musicians.

Committed because they take the music in hand, not to demonstrate it, but above all to bring it to life in all its emotional intensity, its freedom in its impulses, its restraint in its dreams.

Authentic because the text is respected and studied with the sincerity of instinct.

Far from "ready-made" interpretations, this Trio, in which each performer commits himself or herself with the appropriate élan, gives an invigorating image of chamber music, far removed from the conventional slumbers that are usually reserved for it.

Bravo to Rachel Koblyakov, Florimond Dal Zotto and François Daudet, who are taking the right path." (text by Claude Duperret, musicologist and lecturer)
