Following in the footsteps of Garcia da Orta, the famous Portuguese doctor and botanist, ¡ Adios Toledo ! is an encounter dreamt up by jazz pianist and composer Julien Grassen Barbe. For this new project with multiple resonances, he delves into the musical traditions of India and the liturgy of the Judeo-Portuguese communities of south-west France, his childhood home.
