There will be two themes: "The heritage of photography" and "Heritage at risk: reviving, resisting, re-imagining".
The European Heritage Days will open the doors to historic sites – often inaccessible for the rest of the year – for two days.
Two themes have been chosen this year: ‘Photographic Heritage’, to mark the bicentenary of photography, and ‘Heritage at Risk: Revive, Resist, Reimagine’, a theme selected at European level
From Saturday 19 to Sunday 20 September 2026.
