Christmas Market and St Nicholas

Stroll amongst the chalets at the Christmas market and enjoy a host of activities for young and old alike throughout the weekend: music, street performances, and meet-and-greets with Saint Nicholas and Père Fouettard…

Programme:

Saturday:

9.00 am: a musical welcome with the Tahar Tag’l brass band, accompanied by coffee and pastries

Opening of the Christmas Market.

4.30 pm: switching on of the Christmas lights by the Mayor of Saint-Chaffrey

5.00 pm: musical and illuminated street parade ‘Margouillats Sunrise Shake your Body’.

5.30 pm: entertainment with the Tahar Tag’l brass band

Sunday:

9.00 am: opening of the Christmas Market with music from the Tahar Tag’l brass band

4.00 pm: arrival by horse-drawn carriage of Saint Nicholas and Père Fouettard, accompanied by the brass band

Monday & Tuesday:

9.00 am – 7.00 pm: Christmas Market open

4.30 pm: musical entertainment with the brass band – Place du Téléphérique and Allée des Boutiques
