Tiers-lieu des Orres

In 2022, the municipality renovated an old farmhouse, Maison Fichet, with the aim of fostering intergenerational connections and revitalizing the village through the creation of a media library, a restaurant, a multimedia room, and a multi-purpose hall.

In October 2024, the new third place in Les Orres was inaugurated. It offers residents and visitors a welcoming space for living and sharing, where everyone can get involved by running a community bistro or proposing activities and various services.

✅ The goal of the third place: to build connections between residents by creating a space by and for them, one that meets everyone’s needs and interests. From coffee chats, table football, board games, public meetings, reading, and one-off or regular events… any activity or idea is possible.

Its operation is based on volunteer involvement, both to run the refreshment area and to lead workshops and activities. All suggestions, ideas, and availability are welcome!
