Botanical illustration workshop (watercolor sketches) of mountain flowers around the Goléon Refuge.
Schedule:
10:00 a.m.: Hike begins from the hamlets of Valfroide
12:30 p.m.: Lunch* at the Goléon mountain hut
2:00–5:00 p.m.: Botanical watercolor sketching workshop featuring the valley’s flowers
OPTIONAL: Dinner at the mountain hut at 7:00 p.m. and overnight stay in a dormitory or campsite, followed by breakfast and return on July 1 at 12:00 p.m. (mountain hut rates apply)
*Main course + drink + dessert for €15
Workshop details:
– Basics of sketching from life: composition, proportions, transferring measurements…
– Demonstration of field sketching and watercolor techniques.
– Individualized instruction tailored to your skill level.
Beginners welcome!
Price: €25 if you bring your own supplies, or €30 for supplies provided
