PLEASE NOTE / The workshop has been rescheduled for Saturday 20 June. This workshop invites you to discover the rose through your senses and hands-on experimentation. Pick roses in Théus and learn the secrets of hydrodistillation to make rose water.

Unique and free experiences to discover or rediscover confidential places in the small valleys of Serre-Ponçon.

Feel, transform and connect with plants in a different way. This workshop is an invitation to discover

rose, through the senses and experimentation.

On the programme:

Picking fragrant roses (Damas, Centifolia, Provins…), we take the time to smell,

tten and listen to the roses and their energies.

Discover the secrets of rose hydrodistillation to obtain a fragrant rose

floral water, using a copper still.

A moment of connection with nature and sharing.

Duration: 2h30-3h

For whom?

Adults, teenagers, accompanied children, groups of friends, family. Anyone interested in learning more about ancestral skills. No pre-requisites, just the desire to discover!

Number of participants: 12

In case of rain: the workshop is still possible, but bring rainwear as the harvesting will take place in the rain and the

distillation will take place under cover in an outdoor shed.
