High in altitude (2300 m), overhanging the Guil, the view is very far on the wide horizon. When you arrive at the refuge, the immediate environment provides the calm of its vast meadow where an infinite variety of flowers bloom in spring. Cows and heifers graze peacefully in summer to the rhythm of the bells hanging from their necks. To the east, the dolomitic ridge of Crouzetas contrasts by its verticality, appreciated by experienced climbers and... chamois.
