The Marseille Astronomy Association presents the lecture “The Summer Sky,” followed by naked-eye and instrument-assisted observation of the starry sky, with the possible chance to witness shooting stars. Please bring a flashlight for your movements.
Lecture presented by Mr. Mercier and Mr. Potet from AMAS (French Astronomy Association).
New remote-viewing instrument via tablet, allowing both solar and night observations.
Subject to weather conditions.
Street lighting will be switched off. Please bring a flashlight for your movements; artificial lighting is prohibited at the observation site to avoid disturbance, as it significantly reduces visual acuity for at least 15 minutes.
