‘Impressions’ – Preljocaj Ballet at the TDB

More than 30 years after his first collaboration with the Musée d’Orsay, Angelin Preljocaj has created *Hommes au bain*, based on the painting by Gustave Caillebotte. This first piece (2024) inspired a female counterpart (2025) and subsequently a complete programme: *Impressions*.

Premiering in 2026, *Impressions* is a dance journey into the heart of Impressionist painting. On stage, six dancers bring to life works by Caillebotte and Degas, amongst others. The programme comprises three scenes: *Hommes au bain*, *Femmes au bain* and a third part currently in development, to be unveiled for the first time in December 2026.
