At the gateway to Briançon, the Maison de la Géologie et du Géoparc is a place dedicated to planet Earth within the Universe.

Geology, planetarium, dinosaur exhibition, outdoor geodrome.

The Maison de la Géologie et du Géoparc presents the geological riches of the Briançonnais region. It has three museographic areas:

– the outdoor geodrome, which retraces the geological history of the Alps along a pathway

– the indoor museum, with its many educational and interactive tools. A projection room completes the museum, showing films on local geology.

– a planetarium where you can learn about astronomy and make the connection between rocks and stars! Varied sessions all year round, for youngsters aged 3 and over and older visitors alike.

A dinosaur exhibition completes the History of the Earth in the Universe: 4 life-size models of dinosaurs are on display at the Maison de la Géologie.
