At 2 100m altitude, facing the glacier from la Meije, over 2000 species of alpine and mountain flowers and mountains from all over the world are gathered on 2 hectares of one of the most beautiful and high altitude garden in Europe.
Each year, the garden opens its doors from the 1st weekend of June to the 1st weekend of September.
Free or reduced admission at the beginning and end of the season (depending on flowering).
Guided tours are led by botany students from the University of Grenoble. Their knowledge will enrich your visit and provide interesting information about the microclimate of Lautaret, allowing species from afar to flourish up there. They will answer your questions with pleasure. Do not miss !
