Lecture: Waiting for the Eclipse

Everything you need to know about eclipses, in preparation for the one on August 12 (in France). The lecture will be followed by night sky observation, with the naked eye and through instruments.
Presented by Mr. Mercier and Mr. Potet from AMAS (Marseille Astronomy Association).
To ensure optimal viewing conditions, public lighting will be switched off. Please bring a flashlight for your movements; artificial lighting is prohibited at the observation site to avoid disturbance, as it significantly reduces visual acuity for at least 15 minutes.
