Songs of Heritage concert by the Yamma Ensemble programmed by the 30th Chaillol Festival. From the sources of Mediterranean Jewish music, Friday 7 August at 9pm in the Espinasses village hall.
A bearer of a spiritual heritage, an inspired interpreter of the songs of the communities of Yemen, Babylon and Sefarad, Israeli singer Talya G.A Solan embroiders the musical tapestry of the Sephardic and Mizrahi soul, faithful to the soul of the Middle East that shaped it, with its fascinating forms and rhythms preserved by generations of Jewish traditions.
