La Fête des Guides and Faîtes de la montagne with the Bureau des Guides de La Grave
Every year on August 15th La Grave celebrates the mountain and the mountain guides. The festivities starts with a mass in front of the church where the Guides have their ice axes blessed and finishes joyfully with a concert.
PROGRAMME :
10am: Flowers are put down in memory of former mountain guides, in front of the Mountain guides Office
10:30am: Traditional mass in front of the church in La Grave
12pm: Drinks accompanied by music offered by the guides in front of the Mountain Guides Office. And then lunch at the park.
During the afternoon, many games and equipments will be in display for you to enjoy. Plus, a show, in relation with mountain sports, is planned.
9:30pm: Free concert at the Salle des Fêtes in La Grave, until early morning!
From Friday 14 to Saturday 15 August 2026 on Friday. On Saturday.
