Camping de La Lame

Its various pitches allow campers to choose their preferences (shady, close to the river, more secluded…), satisfying the needs of the greatest number.

Several services are available to campers: barbecue with shelter, washing-up and laundry bins, showers with hot water (token-operated), IGN map at reception. The campsite is also equipped with a number of electric hook-ups, and a motorhome drainage point (300 m away) for filling up with water.

Grocery stores and restaurants are located around 50 m from the campsite, in the hamlet of Roubion, where you'll also find shops and craftsmen.

A stop opposite the campsite's main entrance allows you to take the free shuttle bus to the hamlet of Ville-Haute (chef lieu), which operates during part of the summer. These shuttles take campers to the other hamlets in the village, where they can find other shops and restaurants (sports store, bakery, tourist office).

For the more adventurous, a footpath from the campsite takes you to the various hamlets of Névache on foot (approx. 2 km to Ville-Haute). The hamlet of Ville-Haute is also the departure point for the (paying) shuttle bus to the Haute-Vallée de la Clarée, the starting point for many hiking trails.

Missing the town? The Névache municipal campsite is just 20 km from Briançon, a UNESCO World Heritage site that's well worth a day out. In town, you'll find cinemas, shops, a swimming pool, an ice rink… The surrounding resorts and villages offer additional activities (summer tobogganing, etc.).
