An open-air dance festival; free!!!
The "SCENES OUVERTES DANSE" festival, organised by the town of Embrun and supported by the Région SUD, is back to rock the streets of Embrun town centre with grace and energy!
Dance in all its forms: demonstrations, shows, introductory courses and workshops.
Dance for all tastes: Over 20 disciplines represented, including world, urban, modern, traditional, couple and sports dances, etc.
– 450 professional, semi-professional and amateur dancers in the streets of Embrun.
– 35 shows and events over the 3 days.
– Regional, national and departmental professional companies in contemporary dance, jazz, hip hop and flamenco.
– 27 dance schools in the Hautes-Alpes performing.
– Dance evenings
– Festive introductions to country dance, zumba, line dancing and capoeira in the squares
– Dance courses in aerial dance: climbing dance, jazz/contemporary dance, hip hop, cardio dance, African dance (fee payable and booking required).
– More than 4,000 people at the festival.
