There’s no official time or Olympic format here, just a mythical descent from the glaciers of La Grave to the village, where you set off without beacons to draw your own line in the powder. Skis, snowboards, telemark skis, monoskis or homemade machines: anything goes, as long as it’s gliding and a good dose of daring. More than just a race, the Derby de la Meije is above all a party: concerts, aperitifs on the terraces and a supercharged atmosphere, where pros and amateurs mingle in the same energy. In short: three days where the spirit of freeride and the art of mountain living come together in an XXL version. <\/p>\n\n
